Sharing Your Scholarly Projects in the Open Science Framework (OSF)
Sharing your projects in the Open Science Framework (OSF) is an effective way to make your research more transparent, collaborative, and accessible. OSF is a free, open-source platform that allows scholars to organize their work, share materials, preprints, and data, and connect across institutions. By uploading your project to OSF, you can manage every stage of the research lifecycle—from planning and preregistration to data collection, analysis, and publication—while maintaining control over access permissions and licensing. Sharing through OSF not only enhances the visibility and citation of your work but also aligns with open science principles by fostering reproducibility, collaboration, and trust in scholarly research.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- What is the Open Science Framework (OSF)?
- How the tools on the OSF can solve common problems throughout the research life-cycle
- How to sign up for an account and affiliate yourself with CSUSB
Come learn how to share your work here at CSUSB with Scholarly Communication Librarian Dr. Jennifer Beamer!
